Our history

1972 — foundation of the state company Izhevsk Plastics Plant

1974 — production of semi-rigid and flexible molded PU foam for car seat padding. Machinery - Hennecke (Germany), Gallino (Italy).

1980 — production of PU elastomer items.


1980 — production of thermoplastic casting

1985 — production of Isolon EPE - physically crosslinked PE foam expanded in vertical oven. Machinery — Sekisui Chemical Co. (Japan)

1993 — re-organisation to the joint-stock company

1999 — registration of ISOLON trade mark

2000 — production of Isolon NPE — non-crosslinked PE foam. Startup of flame laminating machine which provide lamination of Isolon with films, textiles, non-wovens, foil etc. Machinery — South Korea.

2001 — quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2000 by BVQI (UK).

2002 — a new facility is started up, for production of Isolon EPE HP and EPE HX - physically and chemically crosslinked PE foam expanded in horizontal oven. Machinery — South Korea.

2006 — production of Isolontapes — single- and doublesided adhesive tapes for construction industry.

2007 - a new facility is started up, for production of Isolon EPE and EVA - physically crosslinked PE foam expanded in vertical oven. Machinery — Germany. Development of Isolon in thickness 0,5-1 mm. We take part in the most important world fair on plastics and rubber — K-2007, Dusseldorf, Germany.

2009 - re-certification according to ISO 9001:2008.

2010 — we take part in K-2010, Dusseldorf, Germany.

2011 — we get a title of the Best Exporting Company of Udmurt Republic.

2012 - a new facility is started up, for production of Isolon EPE HX - chemically crosslinked PE foam expanded in horizontal oven.
